Max is picking up momentum in the NBA. Is he turning it around? The Degens make their NBA plays today and then Max gives us his NHL action.

Excerpts from Max’s Notes:  NBA Bulls at Pacers Victor Oladipo will make his return tonight and that’s always a mixed bag. His return will create excitement but also confusion. How many minutes will he play? How does he gel with the offense? In general this is great news for the Pacers but maybe not for sports betters. The Bulls head into Indiana after winning against San Antonio on Monday. The Pacers are 17-5 at home and their wins lately have been bigger ones.

Pistons at Nets Still unsure it Kyrie will play or if anyone has seen or heard from him since Sunday. The Nets got beat down by the Knicks without him and only have 1 win in their last 7 games. The Pistons are equally doing crappy as they have lost 4 of 5. Andre Drummond is questionable here. If Kyrie plays I expect him to have a big night and the Nets win.

Grizzlies at Knicks The Knicks proved their ineptitude again yesterday as they lost to the lowly Hornets. Now they head home to host the Grizzlies. Memphis is coming off a big win yesterday at home over Denver. Memphis is only 9-11 on the road this season but the Knicks only have 7 wins at MSG this season. Ja Morant will show the Knicks what they are missing.

Jazz at Spurs The Jazz will try to rebound from that rare home loss on Monday by heading to San Antonio to take on a Spurs team that continues to be frustrating. The Spurs have lost 3 in a row after dropping their last one to Chicago. San Antonio is only 12-12 at home this season and the Jazz are a pretty solid road team.

Thunder at Kings Sacramento has won 2 in a row but haven’t beaten an above .500 team since they beat OKC a month and a half ago. OKC is coming off a loss on Monday against Dallas but they usually bounce back after a loss as they’ve rarely lost 2 or more on a row the past few months. They are pretty good on the road at 13-10 straight up and 18-5 ATS.

Rockets at Trailblazers Harden and Capela are listed as questionable again but looks like D’Angelo Russell Wilson Westbrook will play today. The Houston offense was bumping on Monday so let’s see how Mike D’Antoni does today with one of his ball hogs, I mean playmakers back. The Blazers still continue to underperform and I can’t trust them.

NHL Maple Leafs at Stars Dallas got that big win on Monday against the Lightning and welcome in a Toronto team that is trying to fight into a playoff spot. It’s hard not to like Dallas at home though. They are 16-7-2.

Coyotes at Ducks The Coyotes have dropped their last few road games but they are overall solid on the road. They haven’t been that great team I liked betting on earlier in the season but I think they will start a big playoff push today.
