NFL Championship Weekend Bets

It’s always dangerous to bet in the playoffs, but the Degens have no fear!

Max, Panther and Arch make their picks in the NFL ATS and NFL Totals.

Excepts from Max’s Notes:

NFL Titans at Chiefs There’s a couple of questions about this one. Would the Chiefs be better off playing from behind? Andy Reid has gotten in trouble in the past from mismanagement of the clock and changing his game plan with a lead. It could be he needs to play from behind. Just maybe not as bad as last week. Another question is can the Titans come from behind? Their game plan will be to run the ball with Derrick Henry if they have a lead. But can Tannehill march them back from a deficit if needed? And speaking of Henry, his workload has been crazy to get the Titans to this spot. It’s hard to imagine him sustaining that even against the Chiefs less than stellar run defense. Also, this is now the Titans fourth consecutive road game and fourth in a row against a division champion.

Packers at 49ers The last time I bet on the Packers was November 24. They were on the road against the 49ers and ended up losing 37-8. They have won 6 straight since then with the majority being close wins against subpar teams. Even their win last week against a Seattle team (that I felt was playing with a lucky rabbits foot) was a close win. So apologies if anyone is offended when I call this team the Green Bay frauds. I can say that they do have a solid defense that could matchup well against San Francisco. But the Packers are about to run into a Niners team that has a great defense and a well balanced offense. The question mark is Jimmy G. Can he limit the mistakes against an opportunistic Green Bay defense? And will the Aaron Rodgers of old show up again this week?
