NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving Bets

Buffalo (-9.5) vs. Detroit (9.5)

Spread: Bet $50 Detroit

Total: Lean Under 54.5

Predicted Score: Buffalo 26 – Detroit 24 (50)

Notes: I think the last time it happened where a team was a home team in a stadium one week and then a road team the next was last year’s Super Bowl.

Though the NFC Championship was more Niners fans than Rams fans and the Super Bowl didn’t seem to have many Rams fans there either.

It could be different at Ford Field today.

Bills fans will travel.

And I kinda think some of them have been camped out at Nard Dog’s Air B&B space the past week.

Hopefully Nard made extra stuffing for his Buffalo visitors.

The Bills got the “home” win last week over the Browns to break their 2-game losing streak and improve to 7-3.

Detroit is on a bit of a winning streak themselves.

After dismanting the Giants in New Jersey last week, Detroit is riding a 3-game winning streak that has shown some of the potential many of us saw in them before the season.

The Lions, at 4-6, aren’t out of a playoff spot just yet.

But a loss today could set them back.

So I do think they will come out super aggressive today and punch the Bills in the face.

But fall short of a win.

So a $50 bet on the Lions plus the points.

NY Giants (10) vs. Dallas (-10)

Spread: Bet $50 NY Giants

Total: Lean Over 45.5

Predicted Score: NY Giants 19 – Dallas 27 (46)

Notes: The last time these teams played the Cowboys, backed by Cooper Rush, took down the G-Men.

A win today would push the winner into sole possession of second place in the NFC East.

The loser then gets to look in the rearview mirror at the surging Football Club.

Taylor Heinicke is playing so well for Washington that he could be benched if he played for the Jets.

But that’s a conversation for Sunday’s Max Bet NFL.

Back to this game, the overreactions to last week will be fresh in bettors’ minds.

Dallas whooped up on a 1-loss Vikings team by 37 points.

The Giants lost by double digits to the fucking Lions.

Easy Dallas blowout, right?

Maybe not.

Dallas has top 10 defense this season.

But they are weak against the run.

I imagine that the Giants will put that defense to the test – much like the Packers did in their surprise win over the Cowboys a few weeks back.

If Saquon and Daniel Jones get going early, it could slow the game down enough to prevent that Dallas offense from exploding.

The Giants are 5th in the league in time of possession and that’ll be there way of keeping this game close.

The Cowboys should come out with the win here.

They are the overall better team.

I just think they are a TD better team and not a 10-point better team.

$50 bet on the Giants.

New England (2.5) vs. Minnesota (-2.5)

Spread: Bet $50 New England

Total: Lean Under 42.5

Predicted Score: New England 23 – Minnesota 16 (39)

Notes: Man this one is shaping up to be a good one.

Primetime Kirk on Thanksgiving, fresh off a big loss to the Cowboys and sitting here with a big, fat, stinky 2.5 line.

The Patriots are coming off a shitty win over the Jets.

But Belichick proved he’s still a Jets QB killer as he got milf-slayer Zach Wilson benched.

Now he will try to get his Pats really into the AFC playoff picture by forcing the Vikings to lose two in a row.

And there’s a good chance it happens.

There has never been an 8-2 team with a negative point differential.

Sure, last week’s beatdown caused it to happen.

But the rest of the season gave them no slack to take a big loss and stay in the black.

The Vikings have won a lot of close games.

And maybe they win another close one today.

Which is why I’m taking the Pats here.

$50 bet on the Pats plus the points.
