Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 11/5/21

Sports Bet Picks for 11/5/21

SAS (-4) at ORL (4)

Pick: $10 ML Bet SAS (-170)

Total: 212 (Lean Under – 212)

Predicted Score: SAS 108 – ORL 104

Notes: The Spurs looked good to start the season but have dropped to 2-6. They lost a close one to the Mavs the other day at home and now head to Orlando to face a Magic team that has not sucked as badly as I thought. I mean, unless you count the dud the other day against Boston.

Orlando is 0-3 at home this year and I think that extends to 0-4.

$10 ML bet on the Spurs -170.

BKN (-10) at DET (10)

Pick: $15 ML bet BKN (-475)

Total: 212 (Lean Under – 212)

Predicted Score: BKN 110 – DET 102

Notes: Two streaking teams here. Brooklyn has won 3 games in a row and the Pistons have lost 3 in a row. The Nets have looked good this past week and are beating teams handily. Still, the 10 seems like a little too much chalk for me to eat here so I’ll moneyline them instead.

$15 ML bet on Brooklyn -475.

NYK (4.5) at MIL (-4.5)

Pick: $10 ML Bet NYK (+170)

Total: 217.5 (Lean Under – 214)

Predicted Score: NYK 109 – MIL 105

Notes: So yeah, me and the Knicks still are not getting along sports-betting wise. They lost their second straight game the other night – a shit game against the Pacers that I had them winning. Well, I have them winning again today so hopefully they can actually, you know, win.

The Bucks are off to a slow start to their season. Maybe its championship hangover or just a slew of injuries. Either way, at 1-3, they are beatable at home and I’ll take a flyer on New York to do it today.

$10 ML bet on New York +170.

NOP (8.5) at GSW (-8.5)

Pick: Bet $15 ML GSW (-410)

Total: 219.5 (Lean Under – 210)

Predicted Score: NOP 101 – GSW 109

Notes: Another game where I have the favorite almost covering but not quite. The Warriors have one loss on the year – an OT loss to Memphis last week. Other than that, they have been rolling. Their offense looks great and even more importantly, they are playing defense – ranking 1st in team defensive efficiency.

They face a New Orleans team that is one of the worst in offensive efficiency and has lost 5 games in a row. Should be 6 in a row here.

$15 ML bet on the Warriors -410.

IND (3.5) at POR (-3.5)

Pick: Bet $10 POR ML (-$160)

Total: 223.5 (Lean Under – 221)

Predicted Score: IND 106 – POR 115

Notes: Two weird teams here that are kind of hard to bet on. But there is one thing you can say that is fact: Indiana is winless on the road this year and the Blazers only have one loss at home this year.

Portland has lost 3 in a row – all on the road – and return home where their effective FG% is 56.8% compared to their dreadful road shooting of 50.6%. I like the Blazers to grab the win tonight so a $10 ML bet on Portland -$160.

MEM (-1) at WAS (1)

Pick: Lean WAS

Total: 225.5 (Lean Over – 226)

Predicted Score: MEM 112 – WAS 114

CLE (6) at TOR (-6)

Pick: Lean CLE

Total: 212.5 (Lean Under – 206)

Predicted Score: CLE 102 – TOR 104

LAC (-2.5) at MIN (2.5)

Pick: Lean MIN

Total: 215.5 (Lean Under – 212)

Predicted Score: LAC 107 – MIN 105

CHA (1.5) at SAC (-1.5)

Pick: Lean CHA

Total: 227 (Lean Under – 219)

Predicted Score: CHA 110 – SAC 109

Sports Bet Picks for 11/5/21

New Jersey Devils (105) at Los Angeles Kings (-125)

Pick: Bet $10 New Jersey

Notes: The Devils have lost 2 in a row. Coincidentally, I have bet on the Devils two games in a row. Might as well make it 3. The Kings have been a really good home team this season and they have won 3 in a row. However, the last 2 were close and New Jersey should be able to do the same. The Devils offense was blanked in their last game but I think they should be able to bounce back and possibly steal one from the Kings. $10 bet on the Devils.

Chicago Blackhawks (150) at Winnipeg Jets (-175)

Pick: Bet $10 Winnipeg

Notes: At first glance, I thought this line was too chalky for a Jets team that has had some shaky goaltending to start the season. But Winnipeg is starting to play better hockey and this Blackhawks team is vying to be one of the worst in the league.

After making some progress last season – and adding a former elite goalie – I thought they could be a fringe playoff team this season. I know it’s early, but this team does not look like it will sniff anywhere near the playoffs.

The Jets, on the other hand, could be a team to look out for. $10 bet on Winnipeg.

New York Rangers (140) at Edmonton Oilers (-165)

Pick: Bet $10 Edmonton

Notes: The Rangers have surprised me so far this season. I knew that with Shesterkin they could be competitive but it seems like a lot is going right for them so far. They have been quite good on the road – despite their close loss to Vancouver the other day.

They head to Edmonton to play an Oilers team that is looking to unseat Vegas and Colorado as the elite team in the West. They are 8-1 to start the year and overall their offense has looked remarkable.

Can they score on the Rangers tonight? I think so. A bit chalky but a $10 bet on Edmonton.

Arizona Coyotes (155) at Anaheim Ducks (-180)

Pick: Bet $10 Arizona

Notes: Arizona is terrible but they literally cannot lose them all. Anaheim is a beatable team. Yes, they are coming off two good wins against subpar teams and Arizona does not even qualify as subpar. But if the Coyotes can keep the Ducks to under 3 goals, I think they have a chance for an upset win today.

$10 bet on Arizona.

Nashville Predators (100) at Vancouver Canucks (-120)

Pick: Bet $10 Nashville

Notes: Two mediocre teams here but I can say that the Predators are on the rise while the Canucks could just be what we see all season. Vancouver is 1-3 at home this year and Nashville has shown they can go on the road in Canada and beat a team. A good team at that!

So I think they go on the road today and grab another win. $10 bet on the Predators.
