Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 12/8/22
NFL Week 14 Thursday Night Football Bets
Las Vegas (-6.5) vs. LA Rams (6.5)
Spread: Bet $50 LA Rams
Total: Lean Over 43.5
Predicted Score: Las Vegas 27 – LA Rams 21 (48)
Notes: More than likely Baker Mayfield will not be ready to play in this one.
Which is a shame because a QB cut from his team, starting on a short week of practice, makes for a fun story.
Alas, the Rams will send out the Wolf.
Who looked decent enough with that offensive line actually keeping him standing.
Of course I see the #13 out there and get equally hopeful that Wolford will play like Kurt Warner and also mad that they allow another QB to don that jersey number.
Yesterday, I kind of ranted on why I think the Raiders are a cusp top 10 team.
And a win today does make it interesting for the playoffs.
While they more than likely fall short of the playoffs – it is nice to see what is possible when this team is clicking.
Vegas has won 3 single-score games in a row.
Prior to that they lost 2 single-score games.
That puts them into Vikings territory if you ask me.
The Rams played Seattle tough and at home, getting almost a TD, I like them to keep things close here too.
$50 bet on the Rams.
LAC (4.5) at MIA (-4.5)
Pick: Bet $10 LAC ML +160
Notes: The Heat at home used to be an automatic win.
This season, they are 8-5 – so a winning record – but are no longer that automatic winning home team.
Just ask the fucking Pistons.
Jimmy Butler sat out in that game, as expected, and the Tyler Herro / Bam Adebayo combination did well.
But the team only scored 96 points.
Butler is supposedly back tonight – but his knees are an issue.
They’ve been deteriorating each of the past few seasons.
Ever since the bubble Finals, Butler has been a timebomb of old age.
The Clippers know a thing or 3 about injuries.
Ever since assembling this super team, keeping the guys on the court has been a major challenge.
But it looks like they have them tonight.
And with the plus line here, I’ll take a shot on them winning.
$10 moneyline bet on Los Angeles.
HOU (-2.5) at SAS (2.5)
Pick: Lean HOU
DEN (-0.5) at POR (0.5)
Pick: Lean DEN
