Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 2/14/22

Sports Bet Picks for 2/14/22

DET (4) at WAS (-4)

Pick: Bet $10 WAS ML

Total: 218 (Lean Under – 216)

Predicted Score: DET 106 – WAS 110

Notes: The Pistons have lost 7 in a row and have been regularly blown out. The Wizards aren’t necessarily lighting things up but should get the win today.

Washington will wait to see what they can get out of Porzingis when he’s available to play. I can’t say when he’s healthy because they will never see that happen.

It will be up to Kyle Kuzma and Thomas Bryant to keep this team competitive.

Really, it could be an opportunity for Kuzma to show the potential that many in LA thought he’d never reach.

Maybe they were right. But I bet you they miss him a lot right now.

$10 bet on the Wizards.

SAC (-4) at BKN (4)

Pick: Bet $10 SAC ML

Total: 226 (Lean Under – 225)

Predicted Score: SAC 118 – BKN 107

Notes: The Nets still don’t have Durant. They just traded James Harden and won’t see Ben Simmons in the lineup for a bit. Good thing they still have Kyrie.

Oh wait.

Riding an 11 game losing streak and they will be without Kyrie for the next 4 games.

That’s a shame.

For the Kings, they have won 3 of their last 4 games. So far, it looks like the Sabonis trade is working out for them. Crazy, right?

Trade for an All Star and you start winning some games.

Pairing Sabonis up with Fox could be enough for the Kings to make the play-in games in the West. Or at least they can win some games and be competitive.

I like them to win this one.

$10 moneyline bet on the Kings.

TOR (-4.5) at NOP (4.5)

Pick: Bet $10 TOR ML

Total: 222 (Lean Under – 221)

Predicted Score: TOR 114 – NOP 107

Notes: The Raptors finally lost a game and it was a close one. They look to get their winning streak going once again by heading to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans.

The Pelicans have lost 2 in a row – both at home.

This was a team that you could find some sneaky value on while they played at home but maybe their trade for CJ McCollum has created a bit of a lineup issue for now.

They also have a big void in their lineup that might get filled by a massive player should he return.

For this night though they don’t have that larger than life figure. So I like the Raptors to get the win.

$10 moneyline bet on Toronto.

OKC (8.5) at NYK (-8.5)

Pick: Lean OKC

Total: 206.5 (Lean Over – 214)

Predicted Score: OKC 106 – NYK 108

POR (15) at MIL (-15)

Pick: Lean POR

Total: 232 (Lean Under – 219)

Predicted Score: POR 108 – MIL 111

SAS (5.5) at CHI (-5.5)

Pick: Lean SAS

Total: 233.5 (Lean Over – 234)

Predicted Score: SAS 116 – CHI 118

HOU (14) at UTA (-14)

Pick: Lean UTA

Total: 230 (Lean Under – 220)

Predicted Score: HOU 103 – UTA 117

ORL (10.5) at DEN (-10.5)

Pick: Lean ORL

Total: 225 (Lean Over – 228)

Predicted Score: ORL 110 – DEN 118

GSW (-6) at LAC (6)

Pick: Lean LAC

Total: 222 (Lean Over – 227)

Predicted Score: GSW 116 – LAC 111

Toronto Maple Leafs (-225) at Seattle Kraken (185)

Pick: Bet $10 Toronto

Notes: The Maple Leafs have not been friends to me the past two games. They suffered road losses to the Flames and Canucks.

Yes. Trust me. I know.

But they continue their road trip in Seattle to take on a Kraken team that is 9-15-2 at home this season. One of those losses was a 5-2 loss to the Coyotes last week.

I’m not thrilled about eating this chalk but I could bet this to about -$240 and still be within my implied probability.

$10 bet on the Maple Leafs.

Detroit Red Wings (200) at Minnesota Wild (-245)

Pick: Lean Minnesota

Chicago Blackhawks (136) at Winnipeg Jets (-164)

Pick: Lean Winnipeg

Edmonton Oilers (-140) at San Jose Sharks (120)

Pick: Lean Edmonton
