Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 2/4/22

NBA

Sports Bet Picks for 2/4/22

BOS (-7.5) at DET (7.5)

Pick: Bet $15 BOS ML

Total: 214.5 (Lean Under – 214)

Predicted Score: BOS 111 – DET 103

Notes: Guess its time to rip the band aid off.

Boston has won 4 of 5 games and my confidence in them has really not changed at all. I can say that their defense has been improved though.

They rank 4th in defensive efficiency, 2nd in opponents effective field goal % and 4th in opponents points allowed. They have the 3rd best point differential in the East.

So to say Boston has turned things around might be a little hasty – but their metrics are trending in the right direction.

The Pistons have lost 4 of 5. They are 8-17 at home this season and recently lost to the fucking Magic by 16 points.

I have Boston slightly covering this one but I do have them winning more than enough to warrant the moneyline bet. I have to increase a little though.

$15 moneyline bet on the Celtics.

ATL (1.5) at TOR (-1.5)

Pick: Bet $10 ATL ML

Total: 215 (Lean Over – 220)

Predicted Score: ATL 113 – TOR 107

Notes: The Hawks are coming off a win over the Suns yesterday. In the process they lost John Collins to a shoulder injury. So he is unlikely to play today.

The Raptors have won 4 games in a row after beating the Bulls yesterday.

These two teams played just a few days ago and the Raptors got the better of the Hawks in that one. I think it’s Atlanta’s turn now.

Trae Young dropped 43 yesterday and I think he still has something left in the tank for today. He has been on an absolute tear as of late and other than a stinker of a shooting night against the Celtics, he is shooting lights out from 3.

I do like this Toronto team. They are well coached and have some solid players. But when Trae Young is on – he’s tough to stop.

$10 moneyline bet on Atlanta.

Leans

CHI (-1.5) at IND (1.5)

Pick: Lean CHI

Total: 231.5 (Lean Over – 236)

Predicted Score: CHI 119 – IND 117

CLE (4.5) at CHA (-4.5)

Pick: Lean CLE

Total: 218.5 (Lean Under – 216)

Predicted Score: CLE 108 – CHA 108

HOU (3) at SAS (-3)

Pick: Lean HOU

Total: 234.5 (Lean Under – 223)

Predicted Score: HOU 111 – SAS 112

OKC (7.5) at POR (-7.5)

Pick: Lean OKC

Total: 214 (Lean Over – 217)

Predicted Score: OKC 109 – POR 108

Notes: This almost triggered a bet on OKC but was concerned about them missing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

BKN (5.5) at UTA (-5.5)

Pick: Lean BKN

Total: 227.5 (Lean Under – 219)

Predicted Score: BKN 109 – UTA 110

NOP (5.5) at DEN (-5.5)

Pick: Lean NOP

Total: 221.5 (Lean Under – 219)

Predicted Score: NOP 109 – DEN 110

PHI (1.5) at DAL (-1.5)

Pick: Lean PHI

Total: 213.5 (Lean Over – 220)

Predicted Score: PHI 110 – DAL 110
