Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 2/5/22

Sports Bet Picks for 2/5/22

PHX (-7.5) at WAS (7.5)

Pick: Bet $20 PHX ML

Total: 222.5 (Lean Under – 219)

Predicted Score: PHX 113 – WAS 106

Notes: Bradley Beal continues to be out for the Wizards. In their last game, Washington managed to upset the Sixers without him. Trust me. I know.

Kyle Kuzma led the way in that one with 24 points. Spencer Dinwiddie also dropped a triple double in that one – filling in for the guy from last season who Kyle Kuzma was traded for.

The Suns are coming off a loss that broke a big winning streak. They will look to start a new streak tonight.

The Suns played a good game for the most part. Deandre Ayton is still banged up and will eventually contribute more out there. But they were just caught in a Trae Young scoring barrage that Devin Booker chose not to keep up with.

No fear of a hot scorer for them tonight with Beal out – so I think Phoenix does its thing and gets a win.

$20 moneyline bet on the Suns.

MIA (-3.5) at CHA (3.5)

Pick: Bet $10 CHA ML

Total: 224.5 (Lean Under – 218)

Predicted Score: MIA 109 – CHA 109

Notes: Jimmy Butler is still dealing with a busted toe. That did not stop him from dropping 17 in a win over the Spurs the other night.

Trust me. I know.

It was Tyler Herro who led the way for the Heat in that one. It was a needed win that helped break a Miami 3-game losing streak.

Charlotte is dealing with their own 3-game losing streak after dropping a close one to the Cavs yesterday. It was also their 2nd home loss in a row – dropping them to 14-9 on the season at the Spectrum Center.

Lonzo Ball had 6 turnovers in that game – almost double his typical per game average. The Hornets’ turnovers led to 17 points for Cleveland.

In general, Charlotte is one of the better teams in the league at limiting turnovers so perhaps they bounce back from that.

Charlotte has also been on a cold streak of shooting lately too – shooting almost 9% worse in effective field goal % their past 3 games.

Typically a pretty good shooting team, I expect them to shoot more towards their norm in this one.

Should be close but with the plus line, I like the value of risking a bet on the Hornets.

$10 moneyline bet on Charlotte.

OKC (6.5) at SAC (-6.5)

Pick: Bet $10 OKC ML

Total: 216.5 (Lean Under – 212)

Predicted Score: OKC 106 – SAC 106

Notes: I wanted to bet OKC yesterday and I backed out. Well, I’m probably a day late to the party as I eye them up again today against the soon to be imploded Kings.

De’Aron Fox and Marvin Bagley appear to be out for tonight’s game. And with trade rumors swirling on pretty much everyone in Sacramento, who knows what kind of lineup they will have out there today.

We know OKC will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander once again. It was Giddey and Dort who led the way yesterday in their 3-point win over the Blazers.

The Kings have only 1 win over their last 9 games. They beat a slumping Nets team – who are dealing with all sorts of injuries and drama at the moment.

Not sure if OKC can win 2 in a row but the payout is too much for me to resist.

$10 moneyline bet on OKC.

MEM (-7.5) at ORL (7.5)

Pick: Lean ORL

Total: 223.5 (Lean Under – 223)

Predicted Score: MEM 112 – ORL 111

NYK (1.5) at LAL (-1.5)

Pick: Lean LAL

Total: 214.5 (Lean Under – 208)

Predicted Score: NYK 102 – LAL 106

MIL (-8.5) at POR (8.5)

Pick: Lean POR

Total: 227.5 (Lean Under – 217)

Predicted Score: MIL 108 – POR 109
