Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 3/1/22
GSW (-1) at MIN (1)
Pick: Bet $10 GSW ML
Total: 231.5 (Lean Under – 225)
Predicted Score: GSW 114 – MIN 111
Notes: The T-Wolves got a solid win yesterday in Cleveland and return home to host a Warriors team that is banged up and not playing dominant basketball at the moment.
Golden State has lost 3 of 5 and will be without James Wiseman, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala today.
But they will have Steph Curry and sometimes that can be enough.
Minnesota has played very well at home this season but they ran into a buzzsaw that is the Embiid/Harden Sixers last week.
Would I be shocked if the T-Wolves won today? No. Do I think they will? Also no.
$10 moneyline bet on the Warriors.
DAL (-5.5) at LAL (5.5)
Pick: Bet $10 DAL ML
Total: 217 (Lean Over – 219)
Predicted Score: DAL 113 – LAL 106
Notes: The Lakers have not been playing well lately. I mean, they haven’t played well all season to be fair.
But after losing an embarrassing one to the Pelicans a few days ago, LA has lost 7 of 10 games.
Dallas is coming off a nice win over the Warriors. Luka had 34 points and 11 rebounds but only 2 assists with 9 turnovers.
The difference here is that the Warriors play defense while the Lakers like to say they play defense.
LA is 16th in defensive efficiency as opposed to last year when they were #1.
LA won’t have Anthony Davis and even stat stuffer LeBron James is on the injury report today.
This does feel like a game the Lakers will come out and win and quiet the media. But all of the statistics say Dallas is the play here.
$10 moneyline bet on the Mavs.
DET (3.5) at WAS (-3.5)
Pick: Lean WAS
Total: 216.5 (Lean Over – 227)
Predicted Score: DET 112 – WAS 115
BKN (8) at TOR (-8)
Pick: Lean TOR
Total: 219.5 (Lean Over – 224)
Predicted Score: BKN 111 – TOR 113
ATL (6.5) at BOS (-6.5)
Pick: Lean ATL
Total: 224.5 (Lean Under – 221)
Predicted Score: ATL 109 – BOS 112
LAC (-7) at HOU (7)
Pick: Lean HOU
Total: 229.5 (Lean Under – 222)
Predicted Score: LAC 114 – HOU 108
Edmonton Oilers (-155) at Philadelphia Flyers (135)
Pick: Bet $10 Edmonton
Notes: Connor McDavid and his Edmonton squad continue their road trip as they head to Philly tonight.
The Oilers have had a brutal road trip so far having to play Florida, Tampa and Carolina.
This should be a bit of a reprieve as the Flyers have just 3 wins since December 30th.
One of those wins came in their last outing. They’ve only won two games in row just 5 times this season.
The Oilers should get the win today and if not, they should just pack in any hopes of a playoff run this year.
$10 bet on Edmonton.
Calgary Flames (-105) at Minnesota Wild (-115)
Pick: Bet $10 Calgary
Notes: The Wild return home after going 1-3 on their road trip. Coming into town are the red hot Calgary Flames.
Other than a blip against the Canucks a week ago, this Flames team has been unbelievable.
Just ask Minnesota. Just a few days ago, the Flames put up 7 goals on the Wild.
Minnesota is still a dominant team at home but man, hard to fade the Flames right now.
$10 bet on Calgary.
New Jersey Devils (130) at Columbus Blue Jackets (-150)

Ottawa Senators (275) at Tampa Bay Lightning (-340)
Pick: Lean Tampa Bay
Carolina Hurricanes (-220) at Detroit Red Wings (185)
Pick: Lean Carolina
Montreal Canadiens (185) at Winnipeg Jets (-215)
Pick: Lean Winnipeg
New York Islanders (240) at Colorado Avalanche (-290)
Pick: Lean Colorado
San Jose Sharks (195) at Vegas Golden Knights (-240)
Pick: Lean Vegas
Boston Bruins (-200) at Anaheim Ducks (170)
Pick: Lean Boston
