Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 3/21/22
NBA
LAL (6) at CLE (-6)
Pick: Bet $10 CLE ML
Total: 223 (Lean Over – 234)
Predicted Score: LAL 114 – CLE 120
Notes: LeBron heads back to Cleveland with his Lakers 30-41 on the season. He faces a Cavs team that is 41-30.
We all saw that coming, right?
The Lakers got a surprise, OT win over the Raptors on Friday night and then dropped a game to the Wizards on Saturday.
Playing in their 3rd game in 4 days, there are some questions over who is available to play.
The King himself is listed as questionable for today.
The Cavs are still without Jarrett Allen. But without Anthony Davis for LA, it’s less of a blow.
Plus, this team still has Evan Mobley, Lauri Markkannen and Kevin Love.
So they should still have the frontcourt advantage.
LA has 10 road wins this season. I don’t see them getting #11 today.
$10 moneyline bet on the Cavs.
TOR (4.5) at CHI (-4.5)
Pick: Bet $10 TOR ML
Total: 225.5 (Lean Under – 211)
Predicted Score: TOR 107 – CHI 104
Notes: Chicago has lost 3 in a row and return home for the first time in a week.
The Raptors have won 4 out of 5 and their lone loss was the aforementioned OT loss to the Lakers.
Toronto is playing in a back-to-back – beating the Sixers in Philly yesterday.
Fred VanVleet remains out for them but Chicago is still without Lonzo Ball.
The Raptors have found a way to adapt when VanVleet is not in the lineup but the Bulls have yet to find chemistry when Ball is not out there to help lead that offense.
Hard to think the Bulls will lose 4 in a row but the value is all over the Raptors here.
$10 moneyline bet on Toronto.
Leans
POR (7) at DET (-7)
Pick: Lean DET
Total: 223 (Lean Under – 223)
Predicted Score: POR 106 – DET 117
NOP (6) at CHA (-6)
Pick: Lean NOP
Total: 234.5 (Lean Over – 238)
Predicted Score: NOP 118 – CHA 120
MIA (-1.5) at PHI (1.5)
Pick: Lean MIA
Total: 216.5 (Lean Over – 217)
Predicted Score: MIA 110 – PHI 107
MIN (3.5) at DAL (-3.5)
Pick: Lean MIN
Total: 229 (Lean Under – 223)
Predicted Score: MIN 116 – DAL 107
Notes: KAT is questionable in this one.
UTA (1.5) at BKN (-1.5)
Pick: Lean UTA
Total: 229.5 (Lean Under – 225)
Predicted Score: UTA 113 – BKN 112
BOS (-13.5) at OKC (13.5)
Pick: Lean BOS
Total: 216 (Lean Over – 226)
Predicted Score: BOS 121 – OKC 105
WAS (-5) at HOU (5)
Pick: Lean HOU
Total: 234.5 (Lean Under – 233)
Predicted Score: WAS 117 – HOU 116
NHL
Nashville Predators (-170) at Anaheim Ducks (145)
Pick: Bet $10 Nashville
Notes: The Ducks have lost 6 in a row and eventually they will break their streak and win a game.
I just don’t think it’ll be tonight.
The Predators have won 3 out of their last 5.
The 5-4 loss to Philly still sticks out in my mind because it was uncharacteristic of Saros to give up 5 goals.
The problem is he did to St. Louis a few games back and then gave up 3 to Toronto on Saturday.
So it could be he’s going through a bit of a funk right now.
Still, he’s the more reliable goalie out there tonight as Gibson has given up 3 or more goals for the last 2 months.
The Predators should be able to do some damage today and grab the win.
$10 bet on Nashville.
Leans
Boston Bruins (-235) at Montreal Canadiens (190)
Pick: Lean Boston
Vegas Golden Knights (140) at Minnesota Wild (-170)
Pick: Lean Vegas
Edmonton Oilers (180) at Colorado Avalanche (-210)
Pick: Lean Colorado
