Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 3/22/22

Sports Bet Picks for 3/22/22

ATL (-1.5) at NYK (1.5)

Pick: Bet $10 NYK ML

Total: 226 (Lean Under – 221)

Predicted Score: ATL 108 – NYK 113

Notes: The Knicks have had a rough season. But one thing has been a constant. They’ve been able to beat the Hawks.

In their 3 previous matchups this season, New York has stifled the Atlanta offense.

Granted, one of those games was without Trae Young. But still. This seems to be a bad matchup for the Hawks.

Atlanta also has not played well on the road this season.

At just 12-22, the Hawks have strung together consecutive road wins only once this year.

The Knicks are playing some decent basketball recently.

They still will more than likely fall short of the play-in games but they have a chance to mess with the seeding of some playoff bound teams.

Today is one of those games.

$10 moneyline bet on the Knicks.

CHI (6) at MIL (-6)

Pick: Bet $10 MIL ML

Total: 232 (Lean Over – 233)

Predicted Score: CHI 113 – MIL 120

Notes: I faded the Bulls yesterday against the Raptors and missed on it. Now I have a chance to fade them in a back-to-back situation.

The Bucks are coming off a loss to the T-Wolves in a game that saw Giannis miss the game with right knee soreness.

He is listed as probable tonight and I get the impression he will play to ensure the Bucks don’t slide too much in the playoff seeding.

Playoff seeding doesn’t mean everything to them – but if they can control their path to some degree, I think they will try to win some games.

The Bucks currently sit in 3rd in the East – stuck in a logjam with Philly and Boston.

Chicago is only 2 games behind them all.

It does not appear as if Lonzo Ball will be back for the regular season as he has seen some setbacks with his knee.

That does not bode well for a Bulls team that rose to the top of the East when he was running the point.

The Bucks should get it done today and create a little more distance between them and the Bulls.

$10 moneyline bet on the Bucks.

GSW (-7.5) at ORL (7.5)

Pick: Lean ORL

Total: 216 (Lean Over – 227)

Predicted Score: GSW 116 – ORL 111

LAC (6.5) at DEN (-6.5)

Pick: Lean LAC

Total: 220.5 (Lean Over – 224)

Predicted Score: LAC 111 – DEN 113

St. Louis Blues (125) at Washington Capitals (-145)

Pick: Lean St. Louis

Notes: For as good as Washington has been this year, playing at home has not been ideal for them.

The Capitals are just 15-12-5 at home this year.

They dropped their last home game a few days ago to the Stars.

The Capitals should have Vitek Vanecek in goal today. He’s been a bit more effective than Ilya Samsonov has been.

But still, each of these guys have been doing a lot of work as the Washington defense collapsed around them.

St. Louis is riding a 3-game losing streak and have not played their best hockey lately.

They are still in the thick of a playoff race so every win counts.

I just don’t think they get a win today.

The Blues have the offense to put Washington away. But the last month has seen their goals allowed per game get worse.

So this could be an opportunity to bet the over.

But my play is the Capitals.

$10 bet on Washington.

Edmonton Oilers (120) at Dallas Stars (-140)

Pick: Bet $10 Edmonton

Notes: The Oilers are coming off a close loss against the Avalanche yesterday.

Now they turn around and head to Dallas to take on a Stars team that is returning home after a 4-game road trip.

Dallas is 20-8-1 at home this season but are only 6-5 at home the past 2 months.

Prior to that loss against Colorado, Edmonton had been on a nice win streak.

The Oilers have managed to keep their offense going – staying in the top 10 in shots on goal and goals scored per game.

Defense has been the main issue for them. But their save % has improved the past month.

Dallas has a mediocre defense and if Edmonton can come out guns ablazin’, the Stars should find themselves playing from behind early.

I like the Oilers to grab the win today.

$10 bet on Edmonton.

Columbus Blue Jackets (245) at Pittsburgh Penguins (-310)

Pick: Lean Pittsburgh

New York Rangers (-165) at New Jersey Devils (140)

Pick: Lean New York

Tampa Bay Lightning (-105) at Carolina Hurricanes (-115)

Pick: Lean Carolina

Philadelphia Flyers (125) at Detroit Red Wings (-145)

Pick: Lean Detroit

Ottawa Senators (210) at New York Islanders (-260)

Pick: Lean New York

Vegas Golden Knights (114) at Winnipeg Jets (-137)

Pick: Lean Vegas

San Jose Sharks (245) at Calgary Flames (-320)

Pick: Lean Calgary

Seattle Kraken (100) at Arizona Coyotes (-120)

Pick: Lean Arizona

Nashville Predators (100) at Los Angeles Kings (-120)

Pick: Lean Nashville
