Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 3/29/22
CHI (-3) at WAS (3)
Pick: Bet $10 WAS ML
Total: 222.5 (Lean Over – 226)
Predicted Score: CHI 111 – WAS 115
Notes: The Bulls are not playing their best basketball right now and its been even worse on the road.
Chicago is just 17-22 on the road this season and they are only 1-3 on their current road trip.
This was a team that was locked into the top spot in the East for awhile but more than likely, they will end up at best the 5th seed.
The loss of Lonzo Ball really impacted this team. Maybe he shouldn’t have rehabbed wearing those Big Baller Brand shoes.
Because it looks like he probably won’t return this season.
For Washington, it seems like they have found a good rhythm around Porzingis.
The Wiz have won 3 of their last 5 games and are somehow above .500 at home this season.
I think the value is on Washington to outright win this one.
$10 moneyline bet on the Wiz.
MIL (2) at PHI (-2)
Pick: Bet $10 PHI ML
Total: 227.5 (Lean Under – 227)
Predicted Score: MIL 112 – PHI 115
Notes: The Bucks are coming off a big loss to the Grizzlies in a game that Giannis missed due to a banged-up knee.
It does look like he will be back in the lineup today in a game with playoff seeding implications.
With less than 8 games left to play, the top 4 seeds in the East are a coin flip.
The Sixers are coming off a double-digit loss to the Suns.
Harden shot 2-11 in that game and scored only 14 points.
So he will look to bounce back from that to play well for the remainder of the regular season so he can get ready for this standard playoff slump.
This should be a close one and if there was ever a time not to mess with the spread, it’s probably here.
I have Philly winning enough times and sometimes covering.
So a $10 moneyline bet on the Sixers.
LAL (11.5) at DAL (-11.5)
Pick: Lean LAL
Total: 218 (Lean Over – 227)
Predicted Score: LAL 111 – DAL 116
DET (13) at BKN (-13)
Pick: Lean DET
Total: 229.5 (Lean Under – 227)
Predicted Score: DET 113 – BKN 114
UTA (1) at LAC (-1)
Pick: Lean UTA
Total: 216 (Lean Under – 216)
Predicted Score: UTA 111 – LAC 105
Colorado Avalanche (-105) at Calgary Flames (-110)
Pick: Bet $10 Calgary
Notes: If you wanted to express just how good the Avalanche have been this season, look no further than to compare them to the Flames.
Calgary is the top team in the Pacific Division – leading Los Angeles by 7 points.
Colorado leads Minnesota in the Central by double that amount – and is 10 points better than Calgary.
But its hard to ignore what the Flames have managed to do this season. Especially offensively.
Calgary is 4th in shots on goal. 6th in high danger shots. 2nd in high danger %. And they are lock step with expected goals for and actual goals for.
Defensively, they have the second best goals against per game and are 3rd in least amount of shots against.
Add to the fact that they are 21-6-6 at home this season.
All of this is to say, Calgary ain’t half bad.
Colorado is the team to beat in the West. But they have faded in the playoffs before.
And I think the Flames could be a team that knocks them out.
Maybe we get a preview of that tonight.
$10 bet on Calgary.

Ottawa Senators (190) at Nashville Predators (-235)
Pick: Lean Nashville
