Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 3/7/22

Sports Bet Picks for 3/7/22

UTA (1.5) at DAL (-1.5)

Pick: Bet $10 DAL ML

Total: 218 (Lean Over – 227)

Predicted Score: UTA 112 – DAL 115

Notes: Dallas looks to win their 5th game in a row and battle with the Jazz for the 4th seed in the West.

Utah has won 4 out of 5 but are now playing their 5th consecutive road game.

Spencer Dinwiddie has been a great addition to the Mavs.

After finding out that he was not well-liked in the Washington locker room, Dinwiddie is further motivated to show his former team his early season form.

Part of the issue in Washington was fit and being told to distribute the ball more to guys like Kuzma.

No issue like that in Dallas. His role is to score and take some pressure off Luka.

The Mavs are a sleeper team in the West. And in many ways you can say the same thing about the Jazz.

This is a dangerous team that not a lot of people are talking about.

Maybe I am taking them for granted tonight because yeah, I like the Mavs here.

$10 moneyline bet on Dallas.

NYK (3.5) at SAC (-3.5)

Pick: Bet $10 NYK ML

Total: 229.5 (Lean Under – 228)

Predicted Score: NYK 117 – SAC 111

Notes: The Knicks have not looked that bad the past couple of games.

They should have beaten the Suns and then they did stomp the Clippers yesterday.

Now, in their 4th road game, they look to take advantage of a Kings team that is just returning from a long road trip.

The Kings have been somewhat better since dealing for Sabonis. But still, this team is not very good and can lose to even the bottom dwellers in the league.

The 26-38 Knicks certainly fir that description.

But I think they add a win today.

$10 moneyline bet on New York.

ATL (-7.5) at DET (7.5)

Pick: Lean DET

Total: 227.5 (Lean Under – 220)

Predicted Score: ATL 111 – DET 109

CHI (6.5) at PHI (-6.5)

Pick: Lean CHI

Total: 230 (Lean Over – 231)

Predicted Score: CHI 115 – PHI 116

HOU (16) at MIA (-16)

Pick: Lean HOU

Total: 226 (Lean Over – 225)

Predicted Score: HOU 107 – MIA 118

Notes: Kyle Lowry is still out. Victor Oladipo might make his debut.

POR (15) at MIN (-15)

Pick: Lean POR

Total: 235 (Lean Under – 234)

Predicted Score: POR 114 – MIN 120

LAL (2.5) at SAS (-2.5)

Pick: Lean SAS

Total: 232.5 (Lean Over – 234)

Predicted Score: LAL 114 – SAS 120

GSW (9.5) at DEN (-9.5)

Pick: Lean DEN

Total: 214 (Lean Over – 223)

Predicted Score: GSW 104 – DEN 119

Notes: The Warriors will not have Curry, Thompson, Green or Wiseman.

Colorado Avalanche (-210) at New York Islanders (170)

Pick: Bet $10 Colorado

Notes: The Avalanche look to break their 2-game losing streak as they head to New York today.

The Islanders are fresh off a win over the Blues on Saturday. Can they make it two in a row?

No. I don’t think so.

Darcy Keumper is slated to be in goal today for the Avs. He’s been stellar on the road recently – going 6-1 over his last 7 starts.

The Islanders have not had much luck with goaltending this season.

Sorokin should get the start and he’s not been having a good time lately. It’ll get worse against the aggressive Colorado offense today.

If you haven’t guessed yet, I’m on Colorado.

$10 bet on the Avalanche.

Edmonton Oilers (155) at Calgary Flames (-190)

Pick: Bet $10 Calgary

Notes: I’m not too knowledgeable about Canadian geography but I do believe both of these teams live in what is called a providence.

Apparently, they live in the same providence called Alberta.

Calgary is the most populated city in Alberta and Edmonton trails behind them.

Well, talk about parallels in hockey because Edmonton trails behind Calgary by 9 points in the Pacific Division.

The Oilers have had a rough season. They started strong, faded, lost a coach, went on a win streak and now are 2-4-1 over their last seven games.

Edmonton has a solid 1-2 punch but does not have much depth after that. Injuries have shown that.

And goaltending has been a huge problem too.

For Calgary, this team has found its groove. They are 13-1-1 over their last 15 games. Their offense is clicking and goaltending has been solid.

They should win the Alberta Bowl today.

$10 bet on the Flames.

Los Angeles Kings (175) at Boston Bruins (-190)

Pick: Lean Boston

Florida Panthers (-280) at Buffalo Sabres (225)

Pick: Lean Florida

Toronto Maple Leafs (-240) at Columbus Blue Jackets (190)

Pick: Lean Toronto
