Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 4/1/22
PHX (-7.5) at MEM (7.5)
Pick: Bet $10 MEM ML
Total: 229 (Lean Over – 236)
Predicted Score: PHX 115 – MEM 121
Notes: The top 2 seeds in the West match up tonight in a fairly meaningless game for both teams.
The Suns are locked in the top spot and the Grizzlies in the second.
So now it’s all about getting and staying healthy.
Yet, both teams are not completely taking their feet off the pedals.
Phoenix has won 9 in a row while Memphis has won 6 in a row.
The Suns will end as the only 60-win team with over 30 wins both at home and on the road. That impressive road record will be tested today against a Memphis team that is 28-10 at home this year.
Phoenix is the better – and healthier team. But the line seems too much to me.
So all of the value is on this nice Grizzlies moneyline.
$10 moneyline bet on Memphis.
MIN (3.5) at DEN (-3.5)
Pick: Bet $10 DEN ML
Total: 237 (Lean Under – 235)
Predicted Score: MIN 116 – DEN 119
Notes: Minnesota still has a chance to get out of the play-in games but standing in their way is Denver. And maybe Utah.
For the Nuggets, they could still move all the way up to 3 if they win and there’s some losses in front of them.
Not likely, but possible.
So this is a game with something for both teams to play for.
Recency points to Denver here. They’ve won 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5.
Minnesota has lost 4 of their last 5 and sit at 18-21 on the road this year.
The Nuggets have been bolstered by MVP-level play by Jokic. Over the past 5 games, he’s averaging 31.2 points per game, 12.8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Not too bad.
Denver did find out that Jamaal Murray is not close to returning – which probably kills a deep playoff run for them.
But they are still going to be competitive as hell.
I like them today to grab the win and put some more distance between them and the T-Wolves.
$10 moneyline bet on Denver.
DAL (-8.5) at WAS (8.5)

Predicted Score: TOR 107 – ORL 103
IND (15) at BOS (-15)
Pick: Lean IND
Total: 225 (Lean Over – 230)
Predicted Score: IND 108 – BOS 122

Pick: Lean MIL
Total: 231 (Lean Over – 232)
Predicted Score: LAC 110 – MIL 122

Pick: Lean DET

Predicted Score: DET 119 – OKC 116

Pick: Lean HOU
Total: 231.5 (Lean Under – 228)
Predicted Score: SAC 113 – HOU 115
POR (15.5) at SAS (-15.5)
Pick: Lean POR
Total: 231 (Lean Under – 229)
Predicted Score: POR 113 – SAS 116
NOP (2) at LAL (-2)
Pick: Lean NOP
Total: 234 (Lean Under – 232)
Predicted Score: NOP 120 – LAL 112
Vegas Golden Knights (-182) at Seattle Kraken (150)
Pick: Bet $10 Vegas
Notes: You’d have to go all the way back to two days ago to remember the last time these two teams played.
Vegas won that game 3-0 on route to their 3rd straight win.
The Golden Knights look for the season sweep today and might have Robin Lehner back in goal today.
Lehner was actually playing pretty great before going on injured reserve – so will be interesting if he can get this team ready for the playoffs.
For Seattle, goals have been hard to come by. It’s been a problem all season but even worse recently.
This could be a game to eye the under for sure.
But for me, the play is Vegas.
It’s getting chalky so the window is closing. If you like them, get them soon.
$10 bet on the Golden Knights.
