Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 6/28/22

Sports Bet Picks for 6/28/22

MLB

PIT (102) at WSH (-120)

Pick: Bet $10 PIT

Notes: The Nationals got their 28th win of the season yesterday by beating the Pirates.

That makes 2 wins in a row for Washington.

They will aim to win 3 in a row for just the third time this season.

Patrick Corbin will try to get them there but considering his 3-10 record and 6.60 ERA, it’s going to be a challenge for sure.

Jose Quintana will get the start for the Pirates.

He’s been decent this season but wins have not come his way.

In his 4 losses, he gave up 4 runs in two of them, 2 runs in one and 1 run in the other.

After the offensive explosion by Washington yesterday, I think Quintana has a chance to have a quieter day.

$10 bet on the Pirates.

BOS (122) at TOR (-144)

Pick: Bet $10 BOS

Notes: Time to chase waterfalls as I look again at the Red Sox today.

Yesterday did not go well for them at all but I do think they match up well with Toronto and are due for a bounce-back today.

Michael Wacha will be on the mound for Boston and he’s having a damn good season.

Ross Stripling has been pretty good for Toronto and pitched well against the Red Sox last time he faced them.

But that was in April when the Red Sox were shit and now they aren’t that shitty.

Because of those April woes, the Red Sox have the series edge on Boston.

I just think things are more balanced now and Boston walks away from this series with at least a win.

$10 bet on the Red Sox.

BAL (142) at SEA (-168)

Pick: Bet $10 BAL

Notes: I was leaning Baltimore yesterday but could not quite get there.

So maybe I’m a day late on this one, but I like the Orioles again today with this plus line.

Dean Kremer has pitched well this season as he takes his awesome mustache out to the mound today along with his 1.71 ERA.

Kremer has just 1 earned run over his last 3 starts and has gone 5 or more innings each time.

Robbie Ray has also pitched quite well over his past 3 starts and maybe it’s a sign the former Cy Young winner is getting things back on track.

The O’s have won 4 of their last 5 and perhaps Seattle should win today.

I just think the line is a bit over inflated for Seattle with Ray on the mound.

$10 bet on Baltimore.
