Notes: I was foiled in my attempt to talk about Zack Greinke’s bizarre behavior yesterday but now I get the chance.
Over the weekend, Zack pretended like he was going to sign a kid’s baseball but instead he threw the ball.
When asked why, he said because it amused him.
This is a dude who came up to the majors, asked to play shortstop instead of pitching, got anxiety from pitching in Kansas City, quit baseball and in general, has been a bit of a headcase his whole career.
I kind of love it.
Him and Kyrie really need to team up on a project.
Anyway, Greinke is pitching today sporting his 1-4 record and 4.68 ERA.
It puts him on par with Dane Dunning who is 1-5 with a 4.17 ERA.
The Royal have lost 4 in a row and the Rangers have dominated them so far in this series.
I hate betting on sweeps but Texas’ offense is coming to life against the Royals’ pitching.
I see more of the same today.

Notes: I backed off the Fish yesterday and that was a wise decision.
But it sets me up perfectly to bet them today!
Sandy Alcantara is on the mound taking on Andre Pallante.
Pallante has been a mix of reliever, opener and starter this season.
Alcantara has been the Cy Young leader.
Miami is just 1-4 over their last five games but they seem to do well in avoiding sweeps this season.
Only the Diamondbacks have managed a 3-game sweep on them this season.
Neither team has a game tomorrow so I expect them to put out their best efforts.
If Miami plays an entire game the way I know they can, then they get the win today.
