Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 6/6/22

Sports Bet Picks for 6/6/22

NHL

Colorado Avalanche (-134) at Edmonton Oilers (112)

Pick: Bet $10 Colorado

Notes: Evander Kane has been known to give some questionable hits and for some dirty plays.

In the last game, he gave a dangerous crosscheck on Nazem Kadri that has knocked Kadri out of this series.

Kane was given a 5 minute major and after the game, was given a 1 game suspension.

So Colorado will be without Kadri – one of their best scorers – and Edmonton will be without Kane.

Kadri is the bigger loss, for sure, but Edmonton is not as deep of a team as Colorado is so perhaps the Kane loss for this game will have a bigger impact here.

Colorado has looked like the better the through three games because, well, they are.

I expect them come out strong today with some extra motivation and close out the sweep today.

$10 bet on the Avalanche.

MLB

SEA (136) at HOU (-162)

Pick: Bet $10 HOU

Notes: Seattle managed to grab two wins from the Rangers – winning both of them close ones.

They also got a close road win over the Orioles four days ago.

With those three wins, they have improved their road record to 12-20.

Yeah, not so good.

The Astros return home after a successful road trip against some shitty teams.

Houston is 14-6 at home this year despite having worse offensive stats at home than on the road.

Robbie Ray will get the start for the Mariners today and last year’s Cy Young winner has not been anything close to the dude he was last season.

Ray is 4-6 with a 4.93 ERA while his opposing pitcher, Cristian Javier, has a 2.41 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP.

Houston has the pitching edge and the bats.

This line should get worse as the day goes on so one of the advantages of doing an early show I guess.

$10 bet on the Astros.

BOS (112) at LAA (-132)

Pick: Bet $10 BOS

Notes: The Angels have lost 11 games in a row and I understand that they cannot lose them all.

But maybe make it to 12?

Two former Met starters will face off today as Boston will put Michael Wacha up against Anaheim’s Noah Syndegaard.

Wacha is pitching more like an ace than Noah is – posting a 3-1 record with a 2.43 ERA and 1.01 WHIP.

Boston has won 4 in a row after sweeping the A’s this past weekend.

The Red Sox are 14-6 over the past 3 weeks – getting them up to .500 after starting the year 13-21.

The schedule has been lighter for them but the way Anaheim is playing right now, I can’t quite say they are a better team than Boston.

I like the Red Sox here with the plus line.

$10 bet on Boston.

Leans

ARI (-104) at CIN (-112)

Pick: Lean ARI

TEX (-104) at CLE (-112)

Pick: Lean CLE

TOR (-164) at KC (138)

Pick: Lean TOR

NYM (-104) at SD (-112)

Pick: Lean NYM
