Max’s Sports Bet Picks for 6/8/22

Sports Bet Picks for 6/8/22

GSW (3.5) at BOS (-3.5)

Pick: Lean BOS

Total: 212 (Lean Under – 211)

Predicted Score: GSW 103 – BOS 108

Notes: Most teams would be thrilled to split the first two games on the road in a Finals series.

But after the way game 2 went down, the Celtics cannot be feeling great.

Everything that helped them win game 1 went away in game 2.

First off, the Warriors adjusted to Boston’s role players – allowing Brown and Tatum to go off but no one else.

Next, they let Draymond push them around.

Now granted, they tried to instigate him and get him ejected – which almost worked.

But when he gets he physical with players, they stop boxing out and trying to hustle for the ball.

Last point here is they fell into the same lull that cost them games against Miami.

Boston had a double digit lead early in this game and found themselves down at the half.

The third quarter was again a nightmare and before you knew it, a 30-point deficit.

Boston has not played great at home in these playoffs so the Warriors do have a chance to split here and regain homecourt.

In order to avoid that, Boston needs to play it’s best basketball and not let up when they have a lead.

Turnovers killed them in the last game and Jason Tatum is inching closer to being the player with most turnovers in a playoff year if he continues what he’s been doing.

I do like Boston today in a bounce back game but not enough to bet them.

Lean on the Celtics.

SEA (120) at HOU (-142)

Pick: Bet $10 SEA

Notes: The Mariners won game 1 of this series so maybe I missed my chance to bet them.

This is a team that is 13-21 on the road and has only won consecutive road games 3 times this year.

But they have the pitching advantage today with Gilbert on the mound.

He’s 5-2 with a 2.22 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP.

For Houston, Urquidy will get the start.

He is also 5-2 but has done so with the run support of the Astros.

Houston should probably win this game but with the plus line here, the implied probability is just right there for me to trigger a bet on the Mariners.

$10 bet on Seattle.

LAD (-172) at CWS (144)

Pick: Bet $10 LAD

Notes: I have been critical of the White Sox this season.

I’d like the say its all been warranted based on their subpar play so far.

But they have now won three in a row after closing out their series with the Rays with a pair of wins and by blanking the Dodgers last night.

Johnny Cueto will get the start today for Chicago.

He’s having a decent year and after some time with the Giants, he should be familiar with this Dodgers’ lineup.

6-0 Tony Gonsolin will be the counter for the Dodgers.

At some point this guy is going to lose but I don’t think it will be tonight.

LA should be able to bounce back from yesterday’s loss and grab a much needed win to break their 3-game losing streak.

$10 bet on LA.

DET (-104) at PIT (-112)

Pick: Lean PIT

TOR (-154) at KC (130)

Pick: Lean KC

ARI (100) at CIN (-118)

WSH (190) at MIA (-230)

Pick: Lean WSH

CHC (-132) at BAL (112)

Pick: Lean CHC

TEX (136) at CLE (-162)

Pick: Lean TEX

STL (144) at TB (-172)

Pick: Lean STL

OAK (194) at ATL (-235)

Pick: Lean ATL

NYY (-178) at MIN (150)

Pick: Lean NYY

PHI (-138) at MIL (118)

Pick: Lean MIL

BOS (-162) at LAA (136)

Pick: Lean LAA

NYM (102) at SD (-120)

Pick: Lean NYM

COL (184) at SF (-220)

Pick: Lean SF
