Excerpts from the show and Mad Max’s notes:

49ers at Cardinals
I think I’m now ready to believe in the 49ers after their absolute best down on the Panthers. They can run, play amazing defense and get key passes from Jimmy G. They are covering games by close to 16 points per game.

Heat at Hawks
Meth Curry hurt his ankle and then Steph Curry broke his hand last night. Watch out Seth Curry. Or Dell Curry. It’s bound to get you next. The Heat were able to run over the Hawks on Tuesday night without Trae Young and now they turn to a game in Atlanta to play again.

Nuggets at Pelicans
The Pelicans are 0-4 but have been in most of the games they have played. Denver has been relying on their defense to cover up some offensive woes. The early money is heavy on the Pelicans and this line stinks.

Spurs at Clippers
With a back to back and a chance to play his former team, Kawhi got a night off last night against the Jazz. He had a great performance in a win Monday and should be ready to take it to his former squad.

Flames at Predators Nashville has won 4 in a row and the Flames have lost two close games. The Predators put up some serious offense and also can clamp down defensively. Part of that is Roman Josi who is a star defenseman who also puts up points. His 13 points leads all defenseman this season.

Canadians at Golden Knights
Montreal is on a back to back but beat a tough Coyotes team yesterday. Vegas has been off since Sunday and should be well rested.
